# Compute resources

> Operate server and proxy compute resources, including power, console, files, and proxy config workflows.

Compute resources are team-owned runtime instances in Minenet.

## Resource classes

* `server`: game server workloads.
* `proxy`: proxy workloads, including Velocity and Gate profiles.

## Core operations

* Power controls (`start`, `stop`, `restart`, `kill`).
* Live console and console history.
* Software/startup/network settings.
* File manager workflows (browse, edit, upload, move, delete, compress/decompress, remote pulls).

## Proxy-specific workflows

Velocity proxies include a dedicated configuration studio for:

* backend registry,
* routing rules,
* fallback chains,
* network/forwarding settings,
* diagnostics and apply.

## Mod workflows

Server resources can use built-in mod platform workflows (for example, Modrinth search/install paths).

## Operational guidance

* Prefer small, reversible configuration changes.
* Confirm live status after power/config operations.
* Use snapshots before risky filesystem or software changes.
